In 1997, we were commissioned by the architect Charles Morris, to make cast iron guttering and rainwater pipes as part of renovations to The Orchard Room at Highgrove Gardens, which is now part of The Prince’s Foundation, the charity founded by His Majesty King Charles III. The goods supplied included ogee gutters and round rainwater pipes.

Set within the beautiful gardens, The Orchard Room is an elegant dining room which overlooks the Orchard Terrace; Highgrove’s resident chefs prepare seasonal culinary delights using ingredients sourced locally and from the Highgrove kitchen garden. Visitors can dine here after completing a garden tour.

Former MD Richard Gudgeon and his colleague Stewart Brook (pictured centre left and right) were delighted to meet the then Prince of Wales at a reception in May 1998 for those involved in the renovation project.
